Remarks	Ten species of the genus Mythimna are recorded from North Borneo. Of these, one new species, Mythimna (Hyphilare) borneana sp. nov., is discribed and Mythimna (Hyphilare) pulchara (Snellen) is recorded from Borneo for the first time.
