Remarks Acrolepiopsis nagaimo Yasuda, n. sp. is described from Japan. It is a leaf feeder of Dioscorea oposita Thunberg and has long been confused with A. suzukiella (Matsumura). Its allied species, A. japonica Gaedike, a borer of bulbil of D. japonica, is redescribed. Illustrations of the adults and genitalia of these species and biological notes are given.
