Remarks	Nippononebria was raised to a genus from a subgenus of the genus Nebria; two new Japanese taxa, Nippononebria pusilla teres subsp. nov. and Nippononebria kyushuensis sp. nov., were described from Nagano, Honshu and from Fukuoka, Kyushu, respectively; the first instar larva of Nippononebria kyushuensis was described; Nippononebria pusilla pusilla and N. chalceola were redescribed; a key to the Japanese species and subspecies of Nippononebria was provided.
