Remarks	Tabanus masamitsui, a new species is described from Okinawa Island. This species is quite similar to T. otsurui Ogawa, but differs from T. otsurui in the narrower width of frons, larger lanceolate middle callus, more slender palpus, and the slightly darkened color of wings.
