Remarks	Negreum subgen. nov. was described in the genus Agonum (type species: Agonum ehikoense Habu); the subgenus Hikosanoagonum of the genus Agonum was redescribed; Agonum (Hikosanoagonum) shirozui, Agonum (Negreum) mutator, Agonum (Negreum) bentone, Agonum (Negreum) ehikoense and Agonum (Negreum) raizanum were redescribed, and a key to the four Japanese species was provided.
