Remarks	A new species, Scardamia xylosmari Sato, Fu & Kawakami, is described from Japan and Taiwan, being separated from S. aurantiacaria Bremer, 1864. The host plant is Xylosma congesta (Salicaceae). It is similar to S. metallaria Guenee, 1858, in the hindwing antemedial line. Moths and genitalia of both sexes of S. xylosmaria, S. aurantiacaria and S. metallaria are illustrated.
