Remarks	Eight new carabid species belonging to tha subgenus Eosteropus are descried from Central Japan. They are Pterostichus (E. ) hirasawai sp. Nov., P. (E.) abensis sp. Nov., P. (E. ) ohkawai, sp. Mpv., P. (E. ) yoshizawai sp. Nov., P. (E. ) hidanus sp. Nov., P. (E. ) shimizui sp. nov., P. (E. ) rengensis sp. nov., and P. (E. ) hiramatsui sp. nov.
