Remarks Following 22 species of weevils (Coleoptera: Curculionidea) are newly recorded from the Miyako Isls. : (1) Eucorynus crassicornis (Fabricius, 1801), (2) Cerobates planicollis Morimoto, 1976, (3) Dexipeus uenoi Morimoto, 1978, (4) Polytus mellerborgi (Boheman, 1938), (5) Cosmopolites sordidus (Germar, 1824), (6) Nothomyllocerus pini Kojima & Morimoto, 2006, (7) Myosides ishigakianus Morimoto & Lee, 1993, (8) Scepticus uniformis Kono, 1930, (9) Tivicis aeratus Morimoto, 1983, (10) Hypera postica (Gyllenhal, 1813), (11) Lixus acutipennis (Roelofs, 1873), (12) Amorphoidea lata Motschulsky, 1858, (13) Anthonomus ryukyuensis Kojima & Morimoto, 1994, (14) Curculio rai Morimoto, 1981, (15) Imachra shirozui (Morimoto, 1964), (16) Aclees hirayamai kono, 1933. (17) Acicnemis postica Hubenthal, 1917, (18) Shirahoshizo rufescens (Roelofs, 1875), (19) Microcryptorhynchus nipponicus Morimoto & Miyakawa, 1985, (20) Simulatacalles simulator (Roelofs, 1875) , (21) S.pustulosus Morimoto & Lee, 1922, (22) Stenoscelis gracilitarsis Wollaston, 1873. among them, 3rd, 6th, 10th, 11th, 18th, 21th, and 22th species represent the southernmost record of their distribution, and 9th, 12th and 14th species represent the northernmost one.
