Remarks	Cyphagogus signipes was recorded from Hinoemata-mura, Minamiaizu-gun, Fukushima Pref., Honshu, Japan. Two adults were found on firewood of Quercus spp. including Q. acutissima. In addition, two adults of Cryptoderma fortunei were collected form Mitahora, Gifu City, Gifu Pref., Honshu, Japan. They were attracted by sap of Quercus acutissima with Lucanus maculifemoratus (Lucaninae) and nitidulid beetles.
