Remarks	Darumazo distinctus Morimoto et Miyakawa has been collected from several localities in Japan but its bionomics was unknown. Three adults of D. distinctus were found from axillary bud galls induced by Asteralobia sasakii (Monzen) on Ilex crenata var. hachijoensis (Aquifoliaceae) on Oshima and Hachijojima Islands, Tokyo, Japan.
