備考	Four species of the genus Vespa are presant in the Philippines: V. luctuosa, V. tropica, V. affinis and V. philippinensis. Of these V. luctuosa and V. tropica are represented by three and four subspecies, respectively (Kojima 1982, Kojima and Reyes 1984).
